Barbera D'Alba Superiore Mito DOC

Barbera d’Alba Superiore is a DOC wine created from the meticulous selection of grapes grown in the oldest, best-exposed UNESCO vineyards. The presence of the Barbera grape in the Alba area dates back to the second half of the 17th century. It is a robust, intense, full-bodied wine that reaches its finest expression with age.

Tasting notes: LogoTASTING NOTES:
Barbera d’Alba Superiore is a DOC wine with a beautiful deep ruby red color, suggesting a full body. The nose reveals fruity and spicy notes, like cinnamon, vanilla, and green peppercorns.   Time spent in small wooden casks mitigates the typical acidity of the grape. The result is a wine with an intense, velvety palate, which combines elegance and strength.
Vinication: LogoVINIFICATION:
Harvesting takes place at the end of September and is carried out entirely by hand. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks and, after malo-lactic fermentation, the wine is left to rest for at least four months in oak barrels from which it draws its typical woody notes.
